Platform List · Delivery Partners · Without Vendor Commission

Six platforms understood deeply. None of them for sale.

Four partner firms for delivery reinforcement. No license margin, no commission contracts.

Platform selection for industry and wholesale: Spryker, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopware, Fluent Commerce. Delivering with Unic, sitegeist, wilma, AD IT Systems — when Team Charlie needs additional volume. No reseller margin, no commission contracts, no hidden price mark-ups.

Platform stack

Six platforms.
Deep, not broad.

We advise on six platforms because we actively work with them in mandates. No pseudo-expertise on systems we only know from vendor pitches. Depth beats PowerPoint breadth — especially when the license decision carries five years.

B2B commerce · since 2015

Spryker

Audit · Migration · Rescue. Six+ mandates, senior architecture, B2B defaults (tenants, pricing, approvals). No reseller margin, vendor-neutral recommendation.

Spryker hub
B2B mid-market · Salesforce connection

Salesforce Commerce Cloud

When the Salesforce platform is already in-house (CRM, Service Cloud). Hybris migration path to SFCC, B2B custom logic, ecosystem integration. Fit for B2B mid-market with an existing SF stack.

SFCC hub
Migration assessment · Deadline 31.07.2026

SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud

End-of-maintenance On-Premise: 31 July 2026. Lift-and-shift to SAP Commerce Cloud or platform change — we assess both paths honestly, without migration margin. Fit for established Hybris installations, large mid-market to enterprise.

Migration paths
Headless · Composable

commercetools

Headless-First for multi-channel. B2B features often come via partner accelerators. Assessment: when Composable makes sense, when a hybrid setup carries better. Fit from mid-market upwards with multi-channel needs.

SME · Mid-market

Shopware 6

Comparative assessment against Spryker and SFCC for smaller B2B mid-market companies. When Shopware suffices, when the B2B depth doesn't scale.

Order Management · OMS

Fluent Commerce

OMS for multi-location inventory with high availability complexity. DACH footprint small — we do the fit-check before the complexity enters the house.

Market reality

Those who earn a margin on a platform
recommend that platform.

Forrester has warned for years about implementer-biased platform recommendations — the most common cause of expensive re-selections in the second platform cycle. Three data points showing why consulting and delivery structurally need to be separated.

67 % DACH B2B with system integrator

Two in three B2B mid-market companies in DACH work with a system integrator who is simultaneously expected to issue the platform recommendation. The SI's margin hangs on exactly that recommendation. The conflict-of-interest architecture is market standard.

9 – 14 mo Selection phase after Hybris EOL

41% of former Hybris customers evaluate multiple re-platforming paths in parallel. The selection phase is its own discipline and takes significantly longer than most executive boards plan. Those who advise in this phase with implementer bias sell the next dead end.

2.5 – 4× Re-platforming TCO over three years

Average total cost of ownership of a re-re-platforming after a wrong selection: two and a half to four times the original license costs.

Source: IDC Worldwide Headless Commerce Forecast 2024–2028

Switching cost is the real lock-in — and it originates in selection, not in the license. A vendor-neutral selection takes a bit more care upfront and prevents three to four times the cost in re-re-platforming TCO. That equation is our business model.

Partner network

Four houses we
deliver with regularly.

We coordinate with DACH boutiques when a mandate needs more hands-on volume than Team Charlie can handle on demand. No reseller partnerships, no commission contracts — only houses we deliver with repeatedly in mandates and whose senior level we can assess directly. Each boutique has a sharp specialty, no all-rounder promises.

Switzerland · Spryker & Hybris

Unic

Established Swiss digital agency, founded 1996. Specialty: Spryker and Hybris platforms for DACH B2B enterprises. Collaboration mode: we provide architecture anchor and steering responsibility; Unic scales engineering on larger programs.

Hamburg · TYPO3 & Shopware

sitegeist

Hamburg web boutique. Specialty: TYPO3 and Shopware platforms for established B2B mid-market companies. Right around the corner, direct personal communication, shared mandates with physical proximity.

Cologne · Magento & Hyvä · AI automation

wilma

Infrastructure · DevOps & Sovereign Cloud

AD IT Systems

Infrastructure specialist with depth in DevOps processes and OpenStack. ISO 27001 certified. Operates its own OpenStack cloud on its own hardware, hosted in high-security data centres in Germany. Activated when mandates need sovereign hosting, cloud, or container orchestration depth at senior level. Hands-on, no vendor lock-in, no data egress to US or China clouds.

Team Charlie · Profiles

Who sits at your table in mandates.

Ten senior profiles from the Team Charlie roster — from strategy anchor through solution architect, five engineering profiles with different specializations (B2B backend, high-traffic, RAG/AI), engineering management through to AI workflow and Salesforce Customer Cloud. Spryker depth dominant, vendor-agnostic where the mandate requires it. Those who commit in the pitch also deliver in the mandate — no bait-and-switch between acquisition and kickoff.

Before you call

Four questions, four honest answers.

„Are you an official Spryker, Salesforce, or commercetools partner?"
No — and that is intentional. Reseller status creates conflict of interest in audit and selection mandates. We know the platforms deeply from real projects, but without a margin on any single recommendation. That is the basic requirement for vendor-neutral consulting.
„Do you receive commissions for a vendor recommendation?"
No. No vendor commissions, no reseller margins, no affiliate contracts. Platform recommendations come from your stack, your B2B reality, and your ERP setup — not our margin. Those who call us know: the recommendation is honest, not profitable for us.
„Which implementation houses do you work with specifically?"
We name specific houses at the table, not on the website — the selection depends on your platform stack, your industry, delivery geography, and budget frame. Those who list "our top partners" across the board usually have a commission model with them. We don't.
„Can we enter into a co-delivery partnership with you?"
If you are an implementation house and want to bring us in as an audit or architecture senior anchor for a mandate: yes, we do that regularly. Prerequisite: we can remain objective toward the end client — no hidden margin models, no preference clauses. Straight talk.
What we have learned

Vendor-neutral is not a pose. It is a business model.

Those who earn on the platform recommendation recommend that platform. We chose against reseller margins so that your selection is based on your B2B reality — not our margin. That costs us more. And saves you more.
